4. A Quick look at the fieldPulse web application layout.
Let's first take note of the layout of the fieldPulse web application. There are four basic components that make up the fieldPulse web application: the header, the catalog, the navigation bar, and the main display.
Header:
In the header section of the fieldPulse web application, you can click on your name in the upper right to access user settings or log out of the program. On the left of the header section are a few icons to return to the home page, open the map, and hide the catalog.
Catalog:
The catalog is on the left side of the fieldPulse web application. It drives the main display of the program. Selecting different items in the catalog tree will change what is being presented on the various navigation tabs in the main display.
The default organization of the catalog is structured starting with company name, pumper route, and lease. Under the lease the oil tanks, water tanks, gas meters, inj/swd meters, and wells can be found. Clicking the arrows on the left of the labels expands or collapses each section of the catalog tree.
Navigate from one lease to the next by clicking on the lease name in the catalog.
Navigation Bar:
A navigation bar is anchored on top of the main display. This section contains several tabs to click on to change the main display. Each tab serves a specific function for either entering data or viewing data that has been added to the system.
When a tab is clicked the main display will change according to the tab selected. Most data entry will occur on the Measurement tab. The Information tab will show a production plot and basic lease information when you have clicked on the lease level of the catalog.
Main Display:
This section of the fieldPulse web application is where you interact with your properties. You can enter data or view information that has been added to the system. The Measurement page, shown in the screenshot below, is the best location to enter data collected from the field.
